field trip to sherwood parc
For our school wide annual field trip, our students went to Sherwood Parc. They were able to strap on harnesses and go zip lining through trees or climb and go through various obstacle courses. Even the smallest ones were able to go through their own obstacle course! It was such a great day !
Architecture workshop with baptiste
This year, we are introducing a new workshop to our students. In this architecture workshop, our students will be learning and discussing various building styles, materials, and designs that they can find around them. They will then be able to experiment and create their own structures based on what they have seen, learned and been inspired by using different materials.
100 Days
Every year, we like to celebrate 100 Days of School with our students. It's a great way to celebrate the commitment and efforts that the class-both teacher and student-has made. This year, the students and teachers dressed up as themselves in 100 years.
QUAI BRANLY FIELD TRIP
The students went to the Quai Branly Museum to learn about the sports that were played by the ancient civilizations. The children were fascinated by the different sports that took place throughout the globe.
Les Trois ChardonS Presents Patapoum et Célestine
Every school year, we eagerly await for Les Trois Chardon spectacle. This year, the show Patapoum et Célestine kept the students and teachers both on the edge of their seats. They all cheered on their little clown protagonist as he tried to overcome his stage fright and fear of heights, all while trying to support his friend and her ambitions. It was truly a show-stopping story about the power of friendship, overcoming fears and working together.
La Semaine du Goût: Atelier of the Five Flavours with Mme. Douffiagues
We invited Mme. Douffiagues from Palettes Batignolles to collaborate with us and host an exciting atelier for our primary students. The workshop was on the Five Flavours: bitter, sweet, salty, sour and umami. The students followed the recipes, looked at charts and flavour profiles to create different dips, sauces and salsas that they all tested, tasted and enjoyed. It was a great activity that allowed our students to familiarise and appreciate the different flavours.
La Semaine du Goût: Crêperie at Rainbow with O11ze
On this beautifully sunny morning, the scent of freshly cooked crepes hung overhead the campus. Regis from O11ze was parked in front of our school, along with his food truck where he made fresh crepes. He served students and teacher alike a variety of crepes. He made savory crepes filled with ratatouille or cheese; sweet crepes, loaded with chocolate, salted caramel, or both; and even a simple crepe made from sarrasin with a little sprinkle of confectioners sugar. Rest assured, the morning ended with everyone smiling and grateful for this classic but versatile French dessert or dish.

The school show! - 2023
This year’s school production was all about MAGIC!
Each class prepared a special segment for the spectacle, wowing parents with many new magic skills and tricks. We also saw some wonderful dances and performances, led by our dance teacher, Miss Liz. All our class teachers did an amazing job, helping students prepare for their class extravaganza.
A great evening was had by all!

visit to the museum of illusion - 2023
Our students had a great time visiting the museum of illusion. To link our term topic and help with the preparation for the school play, students explored the many types of illusion, magic and performance that can be produced.
100 days of school - 2023
To mark 100 days of school, the students at Rainbow School explored the idea of this large number. What do 100 things look like? How large of an area do things take up depending on their size? How do we count to 100? In the Ladybird’s class, we saw each student create a personal project based on this inquiry, and an exhibition of their work, well done on your 100 days projects!

Nuit Blanche / Light night
Art as an interactive and immersive moment is something we wanted the students at Rainbow School Paris to experience. We made 3D sculptures and placed them around a parcours. Students then crawled, ducked and made their way through many different obstacles filled with luminescent pieces of Art. Bravo to everyone who took part and made this such a memorable.
