Welcome to the Hedgehogs and Lions class! This split level class is Grades 4&5/CM 1&2 and welcomes children ages 9-10. The children have French lessons with Ms Isabelle on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and English with Ms Zevia on Thursday and Friday. The Math curriculum covers a broad spectrum of topics and is taught in both French and English. The English literacy program follows the National British curriculum while the French program follows the National French Education curriculum. All academic work takes place in the morning while ludic activities (Dance, Drama, Physical Education and Coding) take place in the afternoon. French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classes are available to all non-Francophone children in this split level class to help facilitate their progress with French lessons. The intimate class size of 16 students is an important part of providing individualised attention and ensuring that each child works at his/her own pace.
