Well-Being Program
The Well-Being Program builds on Rainbow School’s foundation of student-centric learning and continues our tradition of providing a supportive learning environment for students, teachers and parents. Our team which is coordinated by Veronica is focusing on improving students’ academic success, behavior, social integration, and satisfaction. The program’s central objective is to provide emotional and academic resources to better equip students to handle life events as well as promote creative thinking, intellectual exploration, and self-expression.
The Well-Being Program fosters a safe and inclusive environment, giving students crucial tools for success and an enthusiasm for learning. Within the school, we will expand our tailored 1-to-1
teaching and group workshops on emotional and social skills, create whole school events and implement student-led initiatives which foster global citizens. These dynamic initiatives develop confident, critical-thinking students equipped to navigate our global world.
Rainbow School provides a counselling service on campus for all students. Ms Viivi, as the school counsellor, brings the psychological perspective to the Well-Being Program in collaboration with the teaching team fusing psychology and pedagogy. This collaboration results in a well-rounded approach to student well-being. Ms Viivi will be working closely with staff, students, and parents in order to support the school community. The aim of the counselling service is to provide a safe space on campus for students to express their challenges and embrace their achievements, as well as support student academic success by guiding students in the creation of appropriate coping and learning strategies. Ms Viivi will also be helping staff identify the most supportive methods to answer to each student’s needs and adapt the learning environment to the academic diversity of our student body.
